Noami smiled gratefully at Kenna and glanced once more at Leonor, reassuring herself he was in good hands. "All right then, I'll see you later. Make sure they give him a lot of water, Kennie or whatever." She was never the best with names. The priestess gave one last casual wave before hurrying back into the deathly silent battlefield in search of more injured students.

Saranu didn't bother with formalities such as a prolonged good-bye or even a friendly wave, only glared once more at Bryce before sprinting away from the non-fighter's retreat. The battlefield was a stark contrast to the lively, if tense, atmosphere at the 'camp' with its corpse-strewn grass. He paid no attention to these persons except to cast them a brief glance, reassure himself his brother wasn't among their numbers, and continue on.

Thorn sighed at Chase's behavior as the two butterflies snorted with laughter, grinning at each other behind Thorn's mass of dark hair. The familiars knew Rubis only minimally but found Chase's ignorance of the situation almost idiotic despite knowing the true answer wasn't one many would guess. Their wizard master, for that matter, barely so much as recognized the similarity let alone the reasons for it. "If you two are done flirting, then?" He wondered, taking no trouble to hide his dislike for their company. Not that he liked company in general, mind you, but he wasn't in the mood to bother with Chase right then either. Then again... "I suppose you'll be wanting me to heal you too?" Thorn sighed as he took note of the lion hybrid's wounds.

Weed had zoned out and was staring at the grass. As he stared little flowers began to pop up and bloom, creating a multitude of colours around his feet. Some noise jerked him from his daze and he looked at the two new comers and smiled. "Hey I'm Weed, nice ta meet you." he coughed a bit into his fist and grabbed more water. "Oh....speaking of weed do any of you want any I've got more than I need right now." Weed wiggled a bit and put his bottle back, making sure it was secure. Weed laughed at the name, completely ignoring the fact that his own was similar if not more outrageous. He watched the two wolf hybrids flirt with little interest and continued to feel lightheaded from the heat and drugs. "Could we maybe go somewhere with a bit more shade? It's burning out here." he mumbled, chugging down the rest of his water.

((Ok... I had a little bit of a draft for these two, so I just spiffied it up and added a little -I figure they probably won't be around too terribly much longer, but its better to have something? Other: Very protective of his sister; he finds himself always chasing after her or trying to fix or save her from some situation she's gotten herself into. Erin's fraternal twin. When very stressed or worried, he has a tendency to lapse into French.

"Okay... Okay..." Rubis whispered, as if she was reassuring herself, keeping her face hidden. "They'll be gathering the bodies for us, anyways..." She mentioned, and that seemed to put some relief in her. Maybe, just maybe, they'll clean his body and present him like as if he was never beaten and shot senseless.

Before Chase was able to respond to either of them, he heard Weed speak. At first, he seemed intruiged, then he had a dumbfounded look. Wow, he just met the first druggie who outright drug dealed right after a battle. Then again, that didn't sound too bad if it meant getting rid of pain for a while and being releived from trauma... "Um, maybe for someone else," Chase responded to Weed's offer. Looking at Thorn, he said gratefully, "That'd be great, thanks. And Erin, all of us can go looking for him together. It'd be best to stay in a group and look for survivors."

All of us? Thorn hoped he wasn't involved in that equation-though he had a feeling the lion had just volunteered him for a search party. Rather than bother about that-he could always walk away if they tried to drag him along- the wizard let out a cynical snort at Chase's worries. "Convinced a cop will still be wandering out and about? Highly unlikely. They aren't as stupid as you would like to think, Chase. I regret telling you that-I'm sure you'll find someone older than eight who shares your IQ some day." He taunted dryly, turning back to Weed with a slightly disgusted expression. "As for your hair... no thank you, I'd rather not ruin my mind. Aside from that-you really don't want to see a high wizard. Stuff tends to blow up when that happens." "Alcohol too!" Fayt put in happily, fluttering her wings and flying over to inspect the earth elemental's odd locks. "He turned a table into a parrot last time." Jess put in happily, remaining where she was until Thorn practically shoved her off his shoulder for symmetry's sake. "Don't tell people that!"
