Taylor blinked confused, "Uh, Aero, what's that boy talkin' 'bout?" She heard things about not getting out and how did he know her friend's name? The platinum blonde suddenly pushed Taylor infront of her and narrowed her eerie green eyes at Nick. Her mouth opened to speak, "Leave us alone, Nick.... I got out a long time ago! I was never one of you and you know it!" Her mind flashed back to the day she had gotten out of the hospital and suddenly ended up at the House of Mirrors. That when she had met the siblings, but they didn't even have to turn her as she had been born a demon, or atleast the blood ran through her family. She never knew of the secret since her parents and family had perished in a apartment fire six months before. Aero had only been five years at the time when she had found her hidden secret. Shaking her head, she growled slightly as she turned her head to Taylor and suddenly grabbed her friend's hand and ran. "Hurry! Run!" Angel piped up as she dragged Taylor behind as they whipped throught the halls of mirrors. It seemed never ending, suddenly Taylor stopped, "Wait, what's happenin', Aero! Tell me now!" She demanded answers now, but the girl only sighed, staying silent. "Well..." the brunette asked the demon. Angel suddenly came out with the truth, "I'm a demon... by birth though.... I came here after the the fire. I met Nick, that boy, and his siblings after I got out of the hospital and that's when it happened.... I changed and.... Now we have to go, come on!" Taylor blinked as the plaitnum blonde grabbed her as they ran again but it was pointless.

Nick appeared in front of them, "I'll let you out on one condition."

Artemis Wagner sighed, looking down at his watch as he brushed stray strands of dark almond hair from his eyes, the irises of which were similar to the amber colour of Budweiser. It was late, and had become dark a good twenty or thirty minutes ago, leaving the late spring air cool, with breezes crisp enough to make one shiver. This is exactly what the boy did as he turned his gaze back to the house.

Haunted. Who were they kidding? This place was just as abandoned as any other house in the city, especially around this particular neighbourhood. Of course, it was creepy. But even given that, all neglected buildings were a tad unnerving, what with all that weathering done to it. The gentle sound of someone behind him made him turn, blinking, his hands now in his pockets.

"There Alphonse. We came and looked at it. Are you satisfied?" Artemis asked the child coming up beside him.

Alphonse was nearly a foot and a half shorter than his sibling, sporting paler skin and large, half-lidded hazel optics. His browned chestnut locks could never ve tamed by a brush or comb, and were long enough by now to let him sport a ponytail about an inch long, if it could ever all be the same length. It was divided into several odd layers, making it seem scruffier than it was, and often bits of it brushed against his unusually feminine lashes.

Alphonse shook his head, gripping a slightly alarming faded yellow rabbit to his chest. "I want to look inside. Just to be sure." His voice was soft toned, but incredibly mature sounding for his youth.

The elder brother blinked once, a little surprised by his kin's insistance, and breathed out again. He reached out to straighten the collar of Alphonse's sage coloured polo. "Alright. Just this once, mind you."

I didn't know what was happening. I kept hearing voices, screams, and drone conversations. I cautiously walked forward. I wonder how long it's been, since I first walked into the house. I hoped I was close to at least an hour. Then I'd only have another hour, and I would beat the dare. But then again, would my friends come and get me after time's up? Or would they be too scared and I would have to stay here longer? This thought scared me a little. I felt my fear rise a little and i picked up the pace, fast walking through the halls.

I saw her approach me, and gas me. Just like that, my vision blacked out and the last minutes of my human life, expired.

I woke up, my vision blurring in and out of view as I broke through the gas's spell. I looked around and saw the girl from earlier. I shok my head in reply to her question. "No...I guess not..." My thoughts were still groggy and jumbled. I didn't think much of it though as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I blinked as I felt my eyes. They were....buttons. A confused expression came to my face.

Unity smiled and waved, "I'm Unity. You'll know me as one of the four people in charge. Have fun being a demon..." Unity disapeared

Alphonse Wagner gave a declarative nod, as if stating he was pleased, which pulled another sigh from his elder brother.

"Alright. Don't upset anything, and stay close to me, alright?" Artemis raised a dark brown eyebrow at his brother, which quickly caught the younger boy's attention.

Al nodded, again, this time pensively, fully mulling over his sibling's orders.

Artemis took the boy's pale hand and began up the steps, looking around at the houses on the street, all either abandoned like this one or dark until morning, when workers on the graveyard shifts came home to their sleeping forever alone pets.

The wood underneath him creaked lightly, and the full moon gleamed weekly over the white columns of wood that held the half sunken porch roof. The railing was splintered, and Artemis kept a hand hovering carefully over it, not intent on sandpapering his skin away.

They came up to the door, barely breathing, the entire night as silent as death itself. It did not take much to open the door itself; it was so old that it came away from the frame and slid back for then to enter without itself. The almond locked adolescent tugged at the collar of his buttoned white shirt before turning on his flashlight to peer inside as they stepped forward, into the sinister House of Mirrors.
