Edit: Idk why everyone is saying Squirrelflight taking Leafpool's kits is so bad? It makes a lot of sense imo, Yellowfang telling Squirrelflight she couldn't have kits for the purpose of that is not ok, but otherwise its fine?

Maybe it's just not as gross to cats as it is to us? Rabbits for example don't even care if their mate is their sibling or their father haha

Medicine cats not being allowed to have mates or kits makes no sense to me. We've seen multiple times that they will worry about siblings/parents more than other cats, so that's not a justifiable reason. Maybe just having it be a rule that they can't have kits until they have a fully trained apprentice, so that the Clan would have someone to be medicine cat while they are otherwise occupied, but having it not allowed at all is just ridiculous.

I also hate New Tigerstar and feel like the entire Vision of Shadows arch was just a completely out of character turn for most of the leaders/warriors so he could suddenly become leader.

All the hate on Squirrelflight. Seriously
Maybe I'm remembering the arc differently, but she didn't in any way act like Ashfur was her mate. It's not her fault Ashfur obsessed over her to the point of almost taking one of Firestar's lives, and even attempting to kill "her" kits. And no, she didn't use Ashfur to make Brambleclaw jealous, that was confirmed by the Hunters themselves. Yeah, she's kinda bratty, but so are a lot of the lovable cats we have/had.

And in Tigerclaw's Journey... I almost couldn't finish that one, it got so bad. They had kits? Seriously? And she names one after ShadowClan because Tigerclaw was feeling homesick. Lame. Now how's that kit gonna fare in his new home? Everyone's going to look at him like he's some sort of messiah or like a bad omen.

And Twigpaw. I like her and hate her, it's hard to tell. She's way too inconsistent.

This isn’t really a pet peeve but I hate the dogs and I actually started balling my eyes out when Bluestar died ):
