Some refutements because I am bored.
The Erins obviously don't know anything about genetics!
I think it's more of the Erins do not care. In a fantasy world where dead cats can give other cats nine lives and ghost badgers can speak to the living, it's pretty unlikely that the Erins - or more accurately, the writing staff - care if a silver tabby has blue eyes without white.
Firestar is such a mary sue!
Wrong. Firestar is a noble warrior who earned his rank through a strong moral compass and loyalty to his beliefs. He was never handed anything, and only got as far as he did because he stood by his moral code when all else failed.
It is good to note that Firestar becoming the ultimate leader of the forest was brought to a vote from all the clans, and he was chosen to represent all the clans because he was
(a) one of the only leaders chosen to lead by experience - the other being Leopardstar. Blackstar may have been deputy before Tigerstar, but he still broke the code many times and betrayed his clan to satisfy his bloodlust, and Onestar was a last-ditch effort to spare WindClan from needless war, even though picking literally anyone else would've worked and gone over better.
(b) suitable to diplomacy. Firestar thinks with his head and his heart, in that order. Leopardstar has always been headstrong and fiercely passionate, Onestar is notoriously stubborn and docile, and Blackstar is known for being incredibly close-minded.
(c) Firestar cares about more than his own clan.
That's not being a mary sue. That's a good, upstanding character.
Bluestar went crazy and that's stupid!
Bluestar did not go crazy. She sunk into depression, which makes a lot of sense considering her circumstance. She gave up her children in order to pursue a career, watched as her friends and family died around her while she lived on, and had to suffer in silence when the love of her life was apparently murdered. Not only was that weighing on her, but then one of her most trusted advisors attempted to murder her!
So she sunk into her own head, and clinical depression can make you unpredictable and volatile - which very much happened. It just sucks that the Erins framed her depression in such a way that her death makes her more clear-headed, giving off some very unfortunate implications.
