I'm just gonna bring all of this here and put in all the various clues I gave to help you all with this hint, that way its all easy to find on one post. I'm afraid you all are gonna be disappointed when you finally get it right >u< I promise it will mostly make sense when you figure it out though! And I will confirm when you do so, however, my cat's theme will not be revealed before it grows.

This line kind of stood out to me.. I wonder if their cat is the flower/dotted line kitty, and they think that we'll be disappointed because it seems like a lot of us don't seem to think that theirs is the flower kitty? I don't really have anything else to this theory at the moment, except for the highlights on that kitten's design, and I wonder if it has anything to do with pixel art? I don't have the first clue with pixel art so I'm kind of lost at the moment lol..

Having done pixel art, I'm going to say it's the THIRD one. Very subtle, but notable fields of color. The other two have layered blending or gradient. Also, all the stars are SQUARE.

You have an interesting point! I'm not surprised considering you know pixel art.

I did say that my cat is dark colored, but never said anything about the teen's color c;

The answer is very basic, no zooming in required. Wild guesses are totally fine, have at it.

Welp, I thought I had it. I feel so certain yours is the ghost cat cx Is it that both your kitties are on the supernatural/ghoulish/Halloween kinda theme? What with your kitty last year being a skeleton/zombie jelly kitty, and the ghost cat being a spooky ghost? 2spooky4me I also seem to remember seeing that fall is your favourite season somewhere, and Halloween is right in the middle of fall? I'm pulling at straws now aha

I do love Halloween and Autumn! Halloween is my favorite holiday despite never actually going out and getting candy. My cat's theme is related to something commonly associated with Halloween. Whether mine is ghost kitty though is yet to be seen c:

Similar to last year, the theme of my cat is not yet obvious, but it does already have a distinct difference, maybe it can be spotted?

Clues so far;

• You only need to compare my cat from last year and my cat from this year.
• What I am referring to is in terms of pixel art. Its not pixelated yet, but it will be in the adult. Having knowledge of pixel art (and how it is done) will help but is not necessary.
• Don't overthink it.

It is not referring to;

• Spots of any kind
• The shadow on ghost kitty
• Anything that looks pixel-ish currently
• Any similarity in markings

And these are the remaining possibilities;

alright, hi there! i'm going to post some of my theories here just for fun. i apologize in advance because i'm a horrible
guesser when it comes to things like this, and i've probably forgotten hints that rule out my theories, but..here i go?

i think ghost kitty might be celozon's? i've honestly
spent way too much time thinking about this to the point
where my head hurts lmao, but it makes some sense
(i think). they did say the cat would be primarily dark
colored, but 'not necessarily the teen,' and ghost kitty
has potential to get darker in the next growth. as for
the freckles, the large area of white fur on the face as
opposed to rest of the body's stripes makes it seem like
it'd be easier to put pixel freckles on the kitty's face in
its adult stage! i think that might also be the distinct
difference they were referring to? or maybe it has
something to do with the kitty's ears or the yellow
shading? not 100% sure there.

i'm inclined to agree with the idea that the kitty
with the little yellow dashed swirls and blue
flower-like shapes is lady's, even though
it seems a bit too obvious. the fact that there's a
bee item hidden in her flower dressup and bees
are often depicted 'flying' by little dashed swirly
lines.. although i guess it could also be the
newborn because she mentioned it wouldn't be
apparent until her cat grew? who knows man.

i've never really participated in something like this
before and it's actually quite fun! i'm loving all the
growths of these kitties and it's interesting to see
how each artist really makes the design unique to
them! formatted this post to make it not so long,
i hope that's alright aaaaa ;;

i think that the kitty with the snake on its back might
be lucky's because she posted a lot of lyrics that
come from disney songs and the kitty just gives me
aladdin vibes? like the whole snake charming thing and
also genie in a bottle and the smoke. idk, it's kinda far
out there, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (also; the monarch butterfly
hint: there's a royal family in aladdin so maybe that's
connected? haha, idk)

as for space kitty, i think i also agree it might be
irisidium's bc of the ~space~ hints; the
space event deer as hint #1 and also the lyrics to
the hoosiers song 'choices' - i watched the music
video (which was an Experience btw) and in the
intro the guy talks about 'burning sun' which is
possibly another space reference? and their pet
from last year was spacey..it's a strech, i know.

and that just leaves the newborn kitty, who i think
might be zel's! no real solid proof/clues
here, but zel talks about the kitty as if we haven't
seen it yet ("that is, if you get the outcome :'3")
and the hint about thinking outside the box kinda
makes sense if you refer to adopting the
kittens out of a box?

They could possibly just not want us to be able to narrow it down anymore because they want us to solve their hints instead, though.

idk I just have no idea what they mean by their hint about finding a distinct difference between last years cat and this year's even with knowing at least basics about pixel art. It's probably painfully obvious
