I still love your kitty so much! Personally I am happy that she has no scars or anything indicating what happened to her. If only because I often find myself wishing it could be like that for me.
The way I see it, the scar on the previous stage was emotional and now it has healed, and that's wonderful~
Seeing her as a sign that things can and will get better if we hold on and fight for ourselves warms my heart.

I think the messy-ish fur is kinda a sign of the stress of the past

... what was the point of the 3rd stage if its not even hinted at in the final stage :^? As far as I can tell there's not even a hint of it, a healed up spot where the transparent heart was would have tied them together nicely

I understand what you mean, but I think that _was_ the point - scars and trauma aren't always visible. We all carry them with us, but they aren't always on the outside. With that in mind, I really like the concept.
*EDIT* Just caught up with the backstory and other comments. Beautiful.. and while the Chekov's Gun idea could have worked - I see where you're coming from - it's kinds better to have no sign - more true to life. It's there if people look for it, and not always on display.

I could have sworn that my squirrel cat came from a stump, but it’s listed as being from the normal litter...

This cat grew from stump kitty;


We don't have any split outcomes in this litter, so thats on the only one that could grow from the stump outcome.

I remember adopting two stump kitties, but I ended up with only one.

May try checking your trades, assuming you don't have a whole lot since the beginning of June. I only count 12 cats between your 'Cats' and 'Trading' groups, and 13 was the adoption limit. One of your cats was traded for and not part of your original adopts, don't know if you swapped cats for that one or not.
