I'm curious as to where many of you get your names for your hoards?

A lot of mine are quotes from books, movies and songs ^.^
For instance:
My 'Tis the Lay of Luthien hoard. Aragorn says that to Frodo in Fellowship of the Ring.
Another good example is my I Have Seen the Stars hoard, which is named after something Pilot says in a Farscape episode.

Most of the rest are based off of the pet's designs or just random xD

Most of mine are obvious...


The Deep Blue Sea

Others reference pop culture...


Electric Company

And some are completely random...


Banana Pudding

But they are all thought up by me. I've never tried using a generator.

I try to go with what ever inspired me to hoard them in the first place.
For my lineart hoards I just named them curly tails because.that's what they.are. And OMG! Those Ears! Because.that's.what.I think every time I see a dog with little bent ears.

Others are named for songs or something like that.

And my favorites, dressed pets and gifts group is named "The Great and Secret Show" after the Clive Barker book basically.about.these little dieties who enjoy watching the drama played out by humans.

My "An Apple As Red As Blood" is named after a Once Upon a Time episode.

"A Darkened Fairytale" was just the first thing to pop into my head.

"Mechanic Destiny" I didn't name this one. A user in the previous Hoard discussion helped me name it. c:

"Purple Passion" Another random name. I just thought that it would fit.

"Tears of Life" Yet another random name.

And "Sin With a Grin" is the name of a Shinedown song. c:
