I do believe this dog went from VC to Common.

The dark magenta bat from Halloween 2010 went from vr>r, and one of the other one of those bats had the same change (I think it was the white one).
Also, the green cat from May 2010 went from r>uc
I think a teal dog and an orange dog from October 2008 went from vr>r (both from the same litter)
