not sure what the name of this horse was, and searching up "2012 very rare horse" didn't garner any results for it so - could anyone give me some guidance on what this is worth?

Going by the CS Wiki, the horse name is the Pintaloosa x ^^ [whoops, beaten to the punch with the name but I'll keep the rest of the information here!]
The horse itself turned very rare in the 2019 rarity update x - given how recently it turned, the horse would likely be considered worth the three month rule by just rarity considerations. From what I can see in the successful trades thread, no specific trades have been shared including the pet (with its name listed)~

The Grey Siamese [Light Siamese for search function] first turned very rare in March 2017 x - comparative to some pets, this is an early point in time for the pet to have turned very rare, however there is no notable value shifts on the part of rarity. As a result, in general trades the pet is likely to fetch the three month rule for its rarity. In terms of demand, the pet may face some increased value due to the species/artist lineart but any added value on the part of demand would be up to trading users.
Under both versions of the pet name, there are no successful trades shared so far for/with the pet~

For this, I am going to be answering with the approach that true date pets are worth the same as re-release pets - any added value to your pet as a product of it being a true date (as there are people who would be interested in that facet of the pet) would be a product of demand and be up to you and your trade partner. ^^
The UR Peas have been omg so rare since their release in 2017 x - as a result, the only rarity based value information we have for the pet in relation to other pets on the site is based on this release date. It is impossible hard to say how much rarer or less rare the pet is compared to another pet which has been omg so rare since its release.
That being said, the UR Peas generally trades for ~0.5 nons (1 sorb) x
