New Member- Open to making a friend?

Hello, I am still reading a lot of the introduction forums but I wanted to go ahead and make a post because I read somewhere that it could take up to twenty four hours for a new members post to be approved to make sure they aren't a bot.

I play a few other virtual pet games, but this is my first time on chicken smoothie. I look forward to exploring.

Right now the main question I have is how long it takes a pet to grow up, I haven't come across that in my reading yet- I think I've adopted the max amount of everything available to me, gotten all the free stuff in the c shop, gotten the holiday pets & items in the news post, and am now waiting on the pound to open to hopefully find a pet there.

Looks like an interesting site. If anyone wants to chat with me, give any advice, I'm all ears. Still a lot of reading left to do though!

Every month there are new adoptable pets that you can adopt. You can also adopt pets and items from the Pound and Lost and Found or from the adoption forum that others adopt out for free.

I recommend checking out must-read topics for newbies and newbie guide and index as these threads have information that is useful for newbies and returning users.

You can also be ‘adopted’ in the adopt a newbie thread by someone who will answer your questions and show you around the site.

If you have any questions you can ask these in the help forum or you can submit a help ticket to receive help from the team.

pets can take anywhere from 1-30+ days to grow, you don’t really know until it’s fully grown! you can see in the archives how long it takes once the pet is added! some pets, called peter pan syndrome (or pps) pets, are forever doing to remain as a newborn or “growing” stage.

Do either of you know if there is some kind of benefit to giving someone pets on their wishlist?

I find a lot of giveaway pets people want you to have it on your wishlist. So was just wondering.

Usually I gift most pets to people via wishlist or trade pets from their wishlist. Most of the time I just gift people despite the value gap xD

Pets on your wishlist are pets that you are wanting to achieve. So often people will only give out free pets if the pet you're wanting is on your wishlist!
