Since the original owner of this thread doesn't seem to be active on CS any more, I got permission to update and refresh it. I tried re-sorting the front page so it is a little easier to read, and added a few links with more up-to-date information. Some links were also removed because they were either outdated, deleted or were already covered in other guides. However for the most part, the links are pretty much the same as before.

If any older members have suggestions of any more topics which might be particularly useful for newbies, or anything else regarding this thread, please let me know!
