I have several cats irl so it's hard to pick a favorite but the one with the best origin story is Dusty ( Dust Bunny).

My roommates back in college found him in the dumpster of the KFC near our apartment while walking to get dinner. They said they heard meows and growls and there was this tiny grey fluffball trying to eat what was left of a chicken leg🍗.

They took him to our apartment and we began looking for a new home for him.

Lucky for us my roommate had a project in a class with a friend of ours and he came over to the apartment to work on it.

As soon as Dusty saw him he sprinted as fast as his little legs would go and began climbing his pants leg, then shirt. Dusty perched on his shoulder and looked around like "I pick this dude."

By the time he left the apartment the dude had decided to keep Dusty and went to buy cat supplies. He came back and picked Dusty up.

And I know what you are thinking, "Goatmom, I thought you said Dusty was your cat?".

He is. I started dating the guy from college not long after that and now he is my husband.

And Dusty is the happiest most spoiled farm cat on earth
