- What are Aion Dogs?
Aion dogs were originally guardians of the gods. They were also beloved pets and were treated as kings & queen. For the gods loved the dogs so much, they gave them the world to live and prosper on. Free of humans and pollution, everything for them to live provided. They lived on land, near volcanos, by the sea and on mountains high above the clouds. They developed and some evolved along with the world around them. To this day most of the Aion dogs bare the minimum of what they used to be. Earth, Fire, Water and Air are the four basic elements these dogs have settled on. Some have developed the ability to absorb nature around it, and even animals and gain strange traits. The purest of Aion Dogs , called the celestials are decedents of the first Aion Dogs released into this world, but they are hardly ever seen.
Factions?
Of course, peace was simply not sustainable. Dogs divided into two factions, Crystal & Thornwave each with their own customs and ways. Each faction has its vices and virtues, and each come with their own advantages and disadvantages.

xxxx ✔ Crystal Faction Members always have a minimum of 2 pups when breedings.
✔ Crystal Faction Members have a higher chance of getting more pups.
✔ Crystal Members have a raised cap to 8 Aions since they are more likely to get more pups.
✔ When the shop opens, they get a discount on Monday - Wednesday.
✔ Crystal Exclusive Adopts
✔ **NEW ** 5/12/2019 Crystal Members now have the ability to forage in the hunting grounds and gather materials all via RNG by staff. These materials can be used to create a few specific shop items. More information can be found here.Hunting Grounds
To create items it will cost materials & time which will then produce your desired item, which can be traded to other faction members.

✘ Crystal Faction Members have a low chance of passing traits to pups, even if both parents have those traits.
✘ Crystal Faction Members need to pay more on Thursday - Sunday.
✘ Crystal Faction Members are not allowed to sell their wares they create.
✘ Crystal Faction Members cannot participate on Thornwave only adopts.
✦ Pros about Thornwave Faction ✦
xxxx ✔ Thornwave members have a higher chance of traits passing, with the chance of a mutant trait even if neither parent have it.
✔ Items are cheaper on Thursday - Sunday since friendly NPC Thornwave member will want to sell to you.
✔ Thornwave Faction Exclusive Adopts
✔ Thornwave is currently the larger faction, giving it an advantage during boss events.
✔ Thornwave members have an additional day of the week where items are cheaper.
