I love browns and blues together s o this was the pallet I picked out. Doesn’t look 100% like I expected but life a box of chocolates y’all

This kalon loves to travel and collects pins wherever they go. For this contest you will be designing three of their pins: their first pin, their favorite pin, and their most recent pin. Each pin should have an explanation with a max of 200 words for each pin.

His first was from a family vacation in Yellowstone National Park when he was a kid. He absolutely loved watching Old Faithful erupt, so when he saw a pin in the gift shop of the geyser, he had to get it.







His favorite is a pin of a flapjack, otherwise known as a pancake! His grandmother gave it to him for his birthday one year because she knew he liked to collect them. She told him that she saw it while shopping and it instantly reminded her of him. It's his favorite pin not only because it relates to his name, but because it reminds him of his grandmother.




His most recent is from the country he most recently visited: South Korea! He learned a lot about the culture there, and so he got a pin of a hanbok to remind him of something he learned. Hanbok is a traditional dress in South Korea, he learned, and was an everyday dress before the Western dress replaced it. It is still commonly worn for special occasions.

His First Pin
Skye's first pin actually came from his first job. He was required to wear the silly little burger pin as part of his uniform. Of course his fascination grew from this as after this little badge was placed into his paw he started seeing different pins everywhere and he loved them! The idea of being to express himself with small pins that he could put on his scarf or bag was a cute reminder to himself of the stages he went through to get to where he is now. This badge is nothing more than a burger, but because it's his first he treasures it like no tomorrow.

His Favourite Pin
This is his favourite pin, they're his golden wings, he got them during an aviation camp and it was this camp that sparked his interest in flying. Following in the footsteps of his mother. Skye went onto this camp out of pure annoyance, he only wanted to go to please his mum. Upon doing so he was shown around the facilities, the planes and given experience to all the jobs available to go into. His favourite was obviously an Aviator and he has continued his study towards this ever since.

Most Recent Pin
His most recent pin is a two part one, depicting the moon, a cloud and a star that sits on a chain. He received this from his best friend, on his birthday, a reminder to shoot for the stars when making his goals. His obvious goal being to get into flight training academy, his moon, but there are many other goals that he wishes to complete along the way, travel the world, visit Paris and see Vincent Van Gogh's starry night, learn a new language, and these are represented by the star. Skye also thinks it's a pun to go with his name, but his friend assures him it's not.
