The shimmering stars
Replicate how beautiful you are
But the night’s darkness
Signifies my loneliness
The radiance of the moon Is hope that we will meet soon
But the night’s eerie silence Heightens the pain of your absence
The cool breeze Brings with it some lovely memories

My mind has never felt such ease
Once the sun dips below the seas.
In twilight I have never felt such peace
As all my troubles seem to cease.
When the silver moon doth ascend.
I gaze upon my greatest friend.
The truest love I could ever know

Poem;

I had a fear of the dark when I was young
and the shadows and the soundless songs they sung
About the bumps and the howls
about the scratches and growls

I had this fear and I didn't know why
sometimes I would get so scared and I would begin to cry.
But my mother would comfort me
and she said, "Things are not very spooky about the night, you'll begin to see."

I never knew what she meant until one night
a light shimmered into my room, blueish and bright
I went to my window and what I saw
left me in wonder and awe

Everything the light touched was washed in a lightish blue,
and the grass sparkled like gems, being covered in dew.
The night sky that was endless, dark and vast
had stars shimmering and glittering brightly and I knew at last

There was a new love for the one thing I once feared
and all of my anxieties had disappeared.
the change of thoughts was stark
And now, I no longer fear the dark.
