Prompt:
As the Legatus Marauder, Hiddenmoon holds herself to very high standards. She has been well sought amongst the toms of the Kin primarily due to her rather dismissive attitude towards them. No tom has yet to win her heart over. That is, no tom other than Leopardflame. His silent and calm demeanor was what truly won her over. She herself is a cat of few words with whatever she does say being practical and lacking emotion. Despite Leopard flame being a deaf mute, she always feels comforted in his presence. She knows that even without words, he understands her and loves her just as she is. Leopardflame, equally feels loved in her presence. She understands him and is one of the few cats who took the time to learn how to communicate with him. Through the flick of a tail, the touch of a paw, or the twitch of an ear, they are able to speak between each other. It's a match made by Terra herself, some believe. Hiddenmoon and Leopardflame definitely do believe their relationship is ordained by the Spirits. And they live as such.

Another cute aspect about these two's relationship is the fur difference. Hiddenmoon is a short haired kitty who tends to get a little cold on the winter nights. On those night, Leopardflame more than happily provides his fluff to keep his beloved warm. She often buries herself into his fur while they rest in his nest. And he will curl himself around her to keep her extra warm.

Gentle Wind is an herbalist. She lives in the apartment above her shop and is generally kind-natured, although she can hold her own against rude customers despite her name. Oak Wish is a librarian. He's quite shy and works in the Royal Library of Faretta. He rarely encounters many cats there because his section is full of "dusty old tomes" AKA historical records a few readings from falling apart. These two would normally never had any occasion to meet, but for an odd circumstance that brought them together like the strings of destiny.

Gentle Wind had received an inquiry about an old medicinal record that contained an herb with an unidentifiable name. The querier was unsure if the herb's name had changed or if it had gone extinct and they paid handsomely for her to find the mysterious herb. The search for this herb lead Gentle Wind to the Royal Library, where all of the oldest books in the kingdom were kept. There, she asked a passing librarian where to find old herbology books and she was sent to the historical records section.

Gentle Wind browsed the shelves looking for anything promising and, because she wasn't paying attention, ran right into Oak Wish who was carrying a stack of books. Luckily, none of the books were damaged in the resulting tumble and the two cats apologized to each other. Oak Wish inquired on what Gentle Wind was doing in the practically abandoned section, and helped her pull out some relevant books after she explained. Since the old books were in poor condition, only Oak Wish was allowed to handle them and he read them aloud to her while she wrote down anything that sounded helpful in her search. She came back several days a week and they began to bond, Oak Wish with his one source of social contact and Gentle Wind with the odd but intriguing hermit. When Gentle Wind finally identified the herb she was searching for, Oak Wish was sad and silently resigned himself back to loneliness. However, Gentle Wind showed up again the next day with flowers and asked him on a date. The rest, well, is history.

minnowbrook and larchsong aren't technically a couple yet and their kit/s won't be canonically related (probably) BUT !!! they both have very strong mutual pining! larchsong is pretty much known as the kingdom's cupid, he takes immense joy in pairing cats up with each other (sometimes disregarding any actual chemistry and just doing it for his own amusement). minnowbrook however mostly keeps to himself, he's a talented scout thanks to his eye for detail but otherwise doesn't have much notable about him. he's skittish and doesn't handle the spotlight well, so being the apple of larchsong's eye? um. no thank you.
but he can't stop himself from admiring the other tom from afar, and larchsong is determined to get as close to him as possible. he wants his heart to belong to him and him only, and he's the only cat he's ever really felt that way for. but alas, no matter how many cheesy pick up lines he comes up with or roses he leaves at minnowbrook's door, the gray tom only runs! what the freak.
in his defense, having the attention of someone like larchsong is scary. he's charming and popular and shines like the sun, and while minnowbrook doesn't quite comprehend the things he says, the smile on his face when he says your fur shines like the finest silk or compares him to the moon and the stars, it sends his heart aflutter all the same. you'd probably run off, too.

it certainly doesn't help that his crush has been raging for a long long time. it's not just fate that lead him to leave their tribe and join the kingdom with larchsong, after all.

A full moon smiled down on the forest, leafless branches singing in her light. A soft, sweet breeze whispered rumors to the babbling creek and slumbering field mice.
It was a perfect winter night.
A lone cat stared longingly at the sky, the stars, the moon. Her pelt was mottled with patches like the round stones in the babbling brook. Scars rose defiantly among soft, curled fur like cracks that had been buffered away by the endlessly flowing water. Her eyes, the colors of the sky and the forest and the violets in the field’s reflection on water, sparkled with longing.
She was the river.
A cat, unbeknownst to her despite the fact she stared directly at him, looked back. He was white and fair, soft in an angelic and alien way. To perfect for a world like this. His tail curled, as did his fur; both a mimicry of her own traits. His eyes were his most stand-out trait; bright red against the stark yet warm white of his coat.
He was the moon.
The moon is known to push and pull water; they are like two lovers who long for one another but can never be together. It’s a torture neither are even aware of- for while they are drawn to their counterpart, they aren’t aware a cat embodies it.
But what would happen if, perhaps, they were to learn? Does love have the power to fight nature, to fight fate, to fight the strings of reality itself?

(this is out of character for Jinzou, as I do not own him! in the context of this story, if it remains canon, another cat will replace him lore-wise)
