Suggestion: Pings avaliable on CS? 400+ SUPPORT!

That's one of my favorite perks about Flight Rising, I can get a notification when someone mentions me. If I wouldn't be able to see that, then I would have no clue is someone wanted something because I'm not very active there.
It could be great for semi-active people on CS as well!
Also, subscribing does nothing.
I want to get PM's when a subscribed topic gets replied to, but I don't. What does that even do?
I miss out on adopts I love because of it and it's annoying

the CS forums are SO big, it's incredibly easy to miss replies to your posts ;_;

i know of websites that have added a "disable ping notifications" feature, too, so that could potentially be added as well if users are worried about being spammed/getting unwanted notifications :)

Huge support! I feel like this is basically a requirement of modern forums now! It would help people talk to each other easier and continue conversations, I think. And breathe new life into the forums.
