I got this idea from discords security system ~ cs should have a security measure set in place that if an unknown IP address/location is detached attempting to login to your account than it prevents you (or the hacker) from logging in and has you check your email to click the confirmation code.
I feel this could be good solution to catching hackers before they get into the accounts ~ if you get an email saying an attempted login from an unknown location was sensed but you never left town, than admin can be contacted and maybe the problem can be resolved before it even starts.
It will also prevent hackers that are targeting accounts that haven’t been active for a few years because it will sense the new IP address logging in and then make it so the hacker can’t. If the user decides to come back one day - they simply have to check their email and click the confirmation code (plus they would be aware there account tried to be hacked)
Lastly, it will encourage users to change their account email to an active and accessible one because they will know they need to be able to access the email to confirm their confirmation
