WHAT IS IT?
Neocities is a free on-browser tool for coding, hosting and browsing personal
hand-coded websites! Its main goal is to keep the hobby of making and maintaining
decentralized homepages alive in the year of our lord 2024.

This thread is mainly aimed at users who already have their own site, but
newcomers/curious folk are always welcome :] Neocities requires
knowledge in CSS/HTML to make your own site, so if youre interested in
making your own site, I will list some beginner tools at the bottom of this post

If your site itself doesnt comply, you may share screenshots, only if the page
youre showing doesnt display any content offensive to the code of conduct

Man the discord update just swiped half of the graphics in my site away. Im gonna have to redo like all of my older pages

omg. can’t believe I found this!! I have been struggling with planning out my site and I wondered if anyone here on the forum had a neocities also. Also major struggling with css. lol.

I made my neocities profile in 2022, but only really begun working on my site june of last year lol. Its challenging but once you get the basics down its great to mess around with coding! if you ever need help in anyway, id be willing to lend a hand (though im nowhere near an expert lol)

Ah! That would be great I haven’t worked on it in a while, but I just got a html/css book so hopefully having that physical book will help me out. I’m so bad at figuring out positioning and layout techniques :,)

Hopefully my little book helps or I might actually need your help though

Ive begun work on a Masterlist for an off-site closed species im a part of :] its a lot of frankesteining Charadex,( since the actual charadex doesnt work anymore), but it does the trick. here are some gifs of what ive figured out so far

I've created a very, very basic neocities website two years ago. I've used frontpage express to do so. Its somewhat outdated, but i didnt had the time yet to update the website, and when i did, i lost my motivation. Sooo yeah

Man, i wish lol- i havent updated my site in forever! lives been keeping me busy and extremely low on motivation, but i hope to get back to regular updates soon... do keep me updated on whenever you finish the button, the wall needs more neighbors! (plus id love to take a peek round ur site )

I relate so hard on the motivation part, but your site is so neat! a simple plain text site is always a refresher, and i find they often have some of the most interesting reads... i really do agree with your rant on smartphones, i hate how the expandable storage and replacable batteries have been discarded from industry standards in favor of built-in obsolesence :[ but reading your camera reviews was really fun (even if i have no clue what any of the technicisms mean lmao), and your fursuits look awesome!!
