Hi! I just wanted to share some of the art and progress for Catlia, an upcoming virtual pet site.

Current/Planned Features:
✓ Variety of available animal species: cats, dog, llama, bunny, goat, lion, red panda, wolf, etc
✓ Maps/Explore areas
(In progress) Battles
Cattery (where you can view all your pets)
Toys for your toys to play with, and
✓ (Some done, more to be added over time) Plushies - can either be enchanted and used like pets, or can be combined with pets to create a rare design!
✓ (Base & some items complete, more items to be added over time) Human avatar dress-up
(In progress) Marketplace to buy/trade from other users and NPCs
✓ (Some done, more to be added over time) Animated pixel icons
- Referral Shop & USD Shop exclusive pets
- Breed pets
- Interact with other users' pets on outings and find area-exclusive items
Planned Timeline:
- Preliminary open alpha release, roughly around the end of 2021/start of 2022
- Address feedback from alpha
- Kickstarter/development, potentially wiping user data & temporary hiatus
- Closed beta (staff and Kickstarter beta backer tier)
- Open beta
You'll be able to choose a basic cat to begin with, and adopt other cat designs and even other animals later!

Plushies can either be used to interact with your pets, or animated to become petlike creatures themselves. The main difference between pets and animated plushies is that you won't be able to breed plushies.

I'd love some feedback on what other features or items you'd like to see, particularly for the Referral Shop and USD Shop.

Staff searches: We'll be holding applications during the entire open beta, so there should be plenty of time for people to get their applications in.
Artist searches: I'd like to reward artists with in-game stuff at the very least, so we're not officially putting out a call for artists - but always happy to look at art examples in the meantime, and maybe add to our development team. ♥
