Arcane Pass is a sanctuary for many rare and mysterious species. They are extremely hard to find in the wild and most are only raised here.
Please feel free to take a look around. These are free growables for you to care you. Sure there are some restrictions and rules but don't let that push you away from adopting one of these one of a kind species.
Also, feel free to post marking. I personally don't care.

-Don't make your own roleplay to rp my original species. (You can put them in a story though or one x one roleplay. I need to find a site you are free to RP them though)
-You may not give any pets adopted here to anyone! If you don't want them any longer send them back to me.
-You may not breed any characters adopted here at any breeding centers, or breed them yourself.
-You may not make your own of any of my original species.
-No claiming any of these that aren't yours.
-Forms are to be posted anytime on the thread.
-No pity posts/complaining/crying/whining/rudeness/etc.
-Do not use these as Fursonas or mates of your Fursonas.
-No bragging about your creature.
-Don't spam this thread. I like keeping it tidy.
-Three strikes and you are black listed.
-Don't ask for a mod or artist spot if none are open
-Don't remove the links.
-Don't ask to name/rename a creature while adoptions are going on unless the name is part of the adoption form.


..::Artist Notes::..
-You need to grow your own unless you are truly un-capable of doing so.
-You may edit the lineart slightly just don't remove my signature please. If you have any big edits please ask first.
-Parents made to have litters need to be colored in an adult form. They don't need to be done right away though. You are also free to keep ones you want that you make. All other unclaimed ones shall go in the Wilderness.

..::Ayrnu Coloring Notes::..
-The mane color about 95% of the time needs to be darker than the base fur color and solid. Pale/Albino manes and manes with stripes are very rare in Ayrnu.
-Ayrnu can have any color eyes under the sun pretty much. Both parents can have blue eyes and the kits can have red and purple eyes.

..::Ornathik Coloring Notes::..
-Ornathik inherit eye color from there parents and that is it. Also there eye colors are the same shade as there parents. If both parents have yellow eyes the baby can not have gold eyes.
-Usually they are bright and aquatic colors.

..::Tucrovn Coloring Notes::..
-There eye colors are gray, red, orange and yellow. On rare occasions they may be blue, green, or purple..
-They are also ussually darkly colored
-The band on there tail can be any color.
-The legs and beaks are colors like yellow, orange, brown, and gray.

..::Ranok Coloring Notes::..
-There eye colors are gray, red, black, and yellow. On rare occasions they may be green.
-There eyes may have different colors but it's rare. (Ex: Top eye yellow, bottom black)
-They are ussually dark earth like colors though it is possible for them to have bright markings. No blue, purple, or pink however.
-There horns and spikes are ussually pale tans/browns, white, gray, or black.


..::Species Growing Chart::..
Baby Stage grows to the Juvenile Stage in about 7 days.
Juvenile Stages grows to the Adult Stage in about 7 days.


..::About the Name::..
Arcane means known or understood by only a few. Synonyms of the word are mysterious, secret, hidden, esoteric, etc.
Pass means a narrow gap between mountains, that makes passage around, over, or through the barrier.
Pretty much all the species are kept in an area surrounded by mountains. The only land entrance is a narrow and highly secret gap that goes through the mountain barrier.

..::Frequently Asked Questions::..

How long it takes a creature to grow?
Two weeks, give or take.

My creature grew up. Can I adopt another?
Yes you may. The rule is only one growing creature at a time.

Can I adopt from the Wilderness?
No. Only people that may take creatures from the Wilderness are the White Listed (Excluding the retired lineart ones) or people I want to give them out too. Most of the creatures in the Wilderness are contest prizes.

I have one growing creature, may I still have an offspring if I breed one of my grown creatures?
No. If you want to keep an offspring of your creature you will need to wait till your growing one grows up.

How do I get on the Whitelist?
The Whitelist is only for mods, artists, ex-mods, ex-artists, and people who have helped the thread somehow. Being a friend of someone on the Whitelist will not get you on the list. Pestering/Begging will also not get you on.

If I return my creature do I get another one?
If you return your a growing creature you can get another one if there are any for adoption. If you return a grown creature you can get another one also if there are any for adoption. But if there are none of adoption and you return your creature you will have to wait till for more adoptions.

These are the litters that are currently able to be adopted.

Every once and a while new litter is put up for adoption. Below are ones that are available for adopting and need a home. Each litter has a certain amount of open spots. Also, the gender of these are picked at birth along with future abnormalities and mutations.

-You may only have one growing adoptable at a time, no matter what species. The only time this may be broken is when someone returns a creature and I want to give it to a friend who isn't on the Whitelist.
-Don't double post your forms.
-Moderators, Artists, and the White Listed of the thread may have two growing adoptables at a time.

This is where you can breed your species. Do not breed them anywhere else but here. For some reason these creatures when forced to breed have less offspring.

-To breed your creature again you must have a rest period of 15 days which starts after the female gives birth. (Goes for the male and female)
-It takes about 4 days for a creature to give birth.

-No inter species breeding.
-If you do not own both of the creatures the other person must also post a form.
