This avatar is for the Wind Reaper community to use. It can be used at any time, but it has been introduced as an event for the upcoming Halloween themed Roleplay/adoption event for the species. To be added, leave a link to your wind reaper or your application to one!

CARVE A PUMPKIN

Each year, Wind Reapers across the world will make the journey to the Enchanted Pumpkin patch to select a pumpkin for their home. These pumpkins will ward off Jack and his dark magic for a single year, also granting the wind reaper who holds it a special magic if it is well taken care of. These pumpkins will only last a single year, so the journey must be made annually to continue protecting their homes.

Once selected, the Wind Reapers will return home for the carving, since the pumpkin's magic is only activated once it is carved. The magic can only cover a small area, so most wind reapers place it where they sleep to protect their dreams at night from Jackleon all year. They also do not want to move it, as they can get pretty big, so once it's in a place and carved it tends to stay there all year.

To carve a Pumpkin, you must first visit the Pumpkin Carving Event Oekaki and ask to be added. This particular event does not require you to own a wind reaper, but at least apply for one. If you link to your application, you can get access to this oekaki for carving.

Next, you can submit your carved pumpkin to our Community Pumpkin Patch where you will be entered into raffles for special items like Vouchers, Magic Vouchers, and even the chance to get a special MYO Wind Reaper from this event that will have Magic! You can only submit one pumpkin to the patch, so keep that in mind when deciding which pumpkin carving you would like to add.

Once you have decided, simply post a reply to this event thread with the link to your transparent background submission. To make the background transparent, simply hide the "BG" folder. Staff can take it from there! If you are having trouble with your carving, add Tatangi to your Oekaki for color-ins and reach out to her for help.

When it comes to the prizes, you can increase your chances by taking care of your pumpkin. You can do this in more than one way and do it more than once to guarantee a prize! We want to make sure everyone has a chance to do something, so check out the following list of things you can post under you pumpkin carving to increase your prize drop chances!


Writing Prompts
- Write a short, 500 word story about why you carved that image onto your pumpkin
- Write a short story (max 500 words) of your Wind Reaper carving the pumpkin
- Write a 1000-2000 word story of your Wind Reaper making the journey to the patch, selecting a pumpkin, returning home and carving it
- Write a story that involves another player's wind reaper (with their permission) that takes place during this event (pumpkin carving, the journey, telling Jackleon stories, etc...)

Roleplay Prompts
- Interact with Jackleon in an affiliated Roleplay Event
- Tell others about Jackleon in any roleplay thread
- Talk about your journey to get a pumpkin from the patch to others in any roleplay thread
- Participate in an Affiliated Roleplay's Jackelon inspired event

Art Prompts
- Draw/Sketch your Wind Reaper carving the pumpkin
- Create a Jack Event inspired Gift Line
- Do one fullbody, colored wind reaper for another player
- Do one, colored wind reaper bust for another player

Doing 4 of the above will give you a prize. For every 4 you complete, you will get another prize! That's a total of three prizes you are guaranteed if you complete all the tasks and post them under your pumpkin patch pumpkin. For those who do complete all the tasks before the end of the event, there will be a special prize of a Magic Voucher, which can be redeemed for any Wind Reaper you own.

Rarity Edits

When you're applying to adopt a Wind Reaper, you may notice a few things about the community. We hand out Vouchers, HMs and RUs. What do these things mean? How can I get them? What are they used for? Well this post will explain them.

Runner Ups

> Runner Ups are people who the artist believed were good enough to win, but didn't. Since there can only be one winner for each reaper, artists are forced to decide on one! RUs are given to people who didn't win but almost did, and receive one of two things, depending on the artist.
> Trait Voucher - A trait voucher specific to certain traits seen on the original Wind Reaper you applied for
> Wind Reaper based on the same idea as the original Wind Reaper you applied for but didn't win

Claiming Vouchers

> To Claim a Voucher, you must post in the area your voucher requires. For example, Breeding based Vouchers should be claimed in the Nursery Thread. MYOs should be requested in the Customs Thread along with the traits if they wish to use them on their MYO. If you wish to use your Trait Vouchers on an existing Reaper, post a request in this main thread with a link to the reaper you wish to use it on.
> Standard MYO (no edits/traits) - 1 MYO Voucher
> Standard Traits - 1 Trait Voucher per Trait
> Uncommon Traits - 2 Trait Vouchers per Trait

Vouchers can be traded for other Wind Reapers, and also for C$. To prevent confusion, we like to keep track of the value of each type of Voucher here for all to see. > Judge Three Adopts (adopt staff only) - 1 MYO Voucher

Every month we hold raffles for Vouchers that Staff are entered into when they show activity for that month. Each department gets 5 Trait Vouchers, 2 Breeding Vouchers, and 1 training voucher to raffle.

Affiliated Roleplay Vouchers

> From time to time, I like to gift vouchers to roleplayers. RPers help keep the community alive and help shape the lore of the species. Because of this, I like to pop into Roleplays that are listed in our RP section and award Active players Vouchers.
> Affiliated RP Owner - 1 Breeding Voucher
> 1 Month Active RP - 1 Trait Voucher for Each player
> 3 Month Active RP - 1 MYO Voucher for Each Player
> Sponsored Plot Event - 1 Training Voucher per Reaper that participates in the Event
> 10 In-Character Posts - 1 Training Voucher

Redeeming a Roleplay based Voucher requires you to have links to each post or thread that the voucher is for.

Artist MYOs

Artists are allowed one, unlimited trait custom when they become an artist. If they did not claim one of the reapers in their Artist Search entries, then they can create an MYO here.

When approving an Artist MYO, keep that in mind. However, make sure they listed the edits in the correct rarity categories. For future MYOs that are not given based on the number of months they have been working as an artist for this species, they are required to provide a Voucher for each MYO and trait that are trying to claim.


All Artists must make a total of 4 adopts per month to be considered "active" for that month. Once an artist has been active for three months, they are able to make one rare MYO with 3 Rare Traits without the use of vouchers.
After 12 months, they can create another unlimited trait MYO.

Staff MYOs

Staff members are allowed to request at least one, unlimited trait wind reaper when they become a staff member. This doesn't need to be approved in advance, however it will require an artist if they do not wish to make the Wind Reaper themselves.

When approving a Staff MYO, make sure to reach out to that staff member if you have any questions about their MYO. This can be clarifying proof of their MYO redemptions (like an activity based MYO) or if you see traits on their MYO that you believe don't belong on that particular Wind Reaper.

A: Don't worry, as long as you post your (finished) MYO before the deadline (when CS rolls over to September 3rd), they will be approved eventually!

A: Yes! Note that you will be responsible for their growth(s) however, and all kittens must have blue eyes (and sclera, if they have a common sclera color edit).

Q: How many NR edits does my cat get?
A: You may add unlimited NR edits to your cat!
