Yeah, it's a lot easier to draw with a tablet, though not as easy as you might expect (except perhaps if you have a tablet with a screen, which is so expensive). But it's also possible to do some really nice mousework, if you take the time. I know most of my mousework wasn't as good as my pencil-and-paper art, but I've had a couple really gorgeous pieces out of it.

Honestly, I do my best work when it's a hybrid between pencil+paper and tablet, though :3

a tablet is like, digital paper xD
there is pen tablets, like wacoms, which you can draw like you do in real life.
and touchscreen tablets, like an ipad.

it depends on where you live, and which one you want.
I would be getting mine at my local Blockbuster, but there are places all around
