Thought I'd join in and try this out for myself. ^^
I added a bit more detail with slightly darker shading in places and an overlay layer of white to intensify the highlights of the fur. Also added another layer for the eye shine and highlights around the eyes and on the nose. Other than that I followed everything else on the tutorial. 'Twas a fun little exercise.
I know I say it a lot, but the timer really and truly does lie. I'm so easily distracted. *and should be working on other art* >>;
It isn't of a character or anything. It's just a random design I came up with on a whim.
