i wanted to draw one of these little guys
they're a species i bought aaaaaages ago

they're called Dream Casters; called Casters for shorthand.
they're very small & docile creatures that bless people with good dreams. they're adorned with magical gems along their body, and they regrow if they somehow fall out (either by accident, or when used for bringing a new dream caster into the world). Their antennae are a common source of their magic, although it can come from their paws as well.
It's very rare for a Caster to be unable to give good dreams and be devoid of magic; even rarer for one to be a creature of nightmares.

this isn't any that exists rn. i just felt like filling in a design bc i did not want to find one that existed <3
