but maybe you should make it a for funsies species? so then its not entirely for-profit and is easier to get for those who don't have things like cashapp or paypal/c$/any high value pets/etc

yeah! as someone who doesn't have much c$ or spare cash for the species i wish i could be more into, i would probably keep it more old school like the adopts i'm used to, where the adoptions are based on filling out forms (aside from maybe more rare/event type adopts/myos if that makes sense),,, i don't really want there to be any sort of economy, it bums me out that i see adopts i wish i could participate in but can't! :']
