looking for nice artists who have previously made nice species lines that would like to have this species.
they've got hair like splatoon characters, lily pad tails, and are overall pretty aquatic.

anything can be changed about the species you also don't even have to use these sketches for a base
there is no actual lines here, it is purely a couple of sketches, the new owner is welcome to use these sketches and make lines based off of them as long as they keep the signature.
if the new owner doesn't want to use these sketches as a base or lineart then they don't have to include my signature ^^

I haven't made any species but just wanted to say that these are pretty cute!

• they were seen as demigods or something, descendants of the god of water
• they try to keep the waters of the planet as clean as possible
• some squippies, a very small number of them, are "corrupted", meaning they do the opposite of cleaning the waters
• they don't really like being near humanoids but there have been rare instances of a squippy and a humanoid living together like friends
• these guys are clever when it comes to anything water-related and anything that lives in said waters, but few know much about the world outside their home

• they sleep upside-down close to the surface of the water, letting the lily pad on the end of their tails float on the surface just like a normal lily pad
• they're herbivores! :D
• they can breath both underwater and on dry land, though you'll rarely see any of them walking on land during the day~
• They can't manipulate water like their godly ancestors could, but they did inherit the ability to speak with and understand fish and other animals living underwater!
