One last day for the animals to play
in the last warm ray
Soon they will burrow, nest, and sleep
and barely make a peep
Before the flowers fully fall
and while some green leaves still stand tall
Brush noses and beaks,
this time is truly unique.
I'm really tired but I wrote a poem for some reason.
