Maybe has a golden touch thing like Midas ? But its anything he touches with all five fingers (besides himself), so he wears gloves that cover part of his hand so he can still go about life normally.

Very wealthy, and since he doesn't have to work he spends all his time lying about, enjoying himself. Has traveled the known world, and is in good favor with a few kingdoms (he throws money at them, after all.)

Says his power comes from the gods, which he half-believes. Why else would he suddenly obtain this power ? (wasn't born with it)
