Welcome to the world of Bee Imps !
As the pollinator population continues to decrease from a plethora of different reasons,
agriculture companies search endlessly for a solution for their farmers and the world. Science
has failed in producing an explanation for the surge in colony collapse cases. While the world
was quickly losing hope a magical species with honeybee-like qualities was discovered in Scotland.
Thought to have originated from Greece, scientists jumped at capturing a few and studying
their magical properties. Because of their mysterious background and origin these fairy creatures'
secrets have yet to be unlocked.
The occult.
When mortals die their soul passes on to a place called the Asphodel Meadows, thought
to be forever severed from their families and friends. That is, until a mischievous little
creature was created in pity of the ‘lost’. Bee Imps are the messengers for the souls of the
underworld, traveling to the mortal realm to eat and rejuvenate their strength from their
difficult journey. Bee Imps feast mainly on flower nectar, though some have been seen snacking
on fruit and small insects. Because they so closely resemble Honey Bees, Bee Imps can pollinate
the plants around them while they eat. Their thick fuzzy mane allows pollen to stick to them and
be carried from flower to flower and spread as they fly. B-Imps can fly at incredible speeds, one
of the many reasons they haven’t been seen until recently. They are docile creatures, social within
their own species but still aloof around humans.
