in may, simas will be turning 7 years old. pretty damn old for a closed species, isn't it?
it has never been a big species, only existing among so many people at once. for such a generic appearance, the species
attracted some wonderful souls that I don't think my life would be the same without despite the negative view on Simas'
outside quality. I've only owned them for 3 of those 7 years, but even with that fraction, it has been a blast.
i find it bittersweet, the things we went through together as an entire community. no matter how rough and quiet it got,
they were always there. for just being a closed species, it keeps bringing me so much joy to be able to interact with all of you
and to be able to get to know everyone more and more.
we're reaching golden years as a community who never died despite Simas' fluctuating activity. I hope that we can spend
more years together no matter what happens to the species. old community members and new, you're all wonderful and
I'm glad to have the experience of running a species alongside such amazing people and for a group like you. I couldn't have
asked more of any of you.
