the ARPG aspect of this adopt. It has some fun perks like competitions, free

What are Sundance Mountain Drafts?
Sundance Mountain Drafts, commonly known as Sundance Drafts or just Sundancers, are a newly-discovered draft
breed found in the Scandinavian Mountains. Believed to be related to the Clydesdale, Sundance Drafts are prized
for their hardy bodies, gentle temperament, and ability to be trained in any discipline. Most of these drafts grow
from 16 to 18 hands, and are able to carry any markings and coat color.

What's in a name?
Sundance drafts were originally named for their elegant gait and calm demeanor. There has also been folklore
from ancient civilizations that these horses were created by the universe to pull the sun up each morning in their
gallop across the sky. While we know now that Earth rotates around the sun, you may believe what you wish...

• Sundance Drafts are a closed species, so you may not create a horse and claim it is from this adoptable.
• Unkindness & guilt-tripping will not be permitted. Treat everyone with respect, whether they are staff or not!
• This goes without saying, but follow CS rules!
• Don't edit your horse's original Oekaki art, other than cropping & resizing.
• You must have a stable page to breed & enter competitions.
• You may only use official SMD horses to complete prompts, but you are welcome to make your own stablehands/trainers/other human characters.
• If you break rules, you may be warned or banned. With a ban, depending on the severity, your horses may be readopted.

• More rules will emerge as we see fit. Important changes will be announced ^^

1. Get your first horse.
You can get your first horse through a free custom, or just winning a normal adopt!
This horse will be called your founder. Your founder can have up to [url=link]common colors &
markings[/url]. If an artist posts that they have founder requests open, feel free to fill out
and post the form below! You may only get one founder.

2. Create your stable
Your stable can be hosted anywhere you'd like, but the easiest place to put it is
probably the Character Storage board! While a stable isn't technically required,
there are some things you can't do without one. At the very least, you need your
horse's original adoption page link and their training level, but feel free to pretty
it up with other information to your satisfaction!

3. Play!
Now that you've obtained your founder and made a stable, you have free rein (pun
intended) over what to do! You can adopt horses and leave it at that, but there is
a lot more than that that you can do if you choose. I'll give you a quick list:
-Answer prompts to level up your horse, giving you a boost in competitions
-Participate in the Saturnalia to try your luck at winning prizes
-Breed horses to get new foals
-Order special custom horses
-And more to come!
