Flora is a professional photographer, one who often hides behind her camera and uses it as an excuse to not talk about her emotions. She usually takes pictures of inanimate objects or things in nature. Lately, she's been taking headshots for people. That's how she met her girlfriend, Juniper. The canine was looking for a picture to put on her website and on some cards, but Juniper could tell that Flora was troubled. After the photoshoot, the therapist managed to get the photographer to open up about her life and her terrible history.

Since she was a young girl, Flora's father would abuse her and tell her that she was worthless as well as too emotional. Growing up, she felt scared of him and that anxiety came off in bouts of anger at other people because she was used to aggression all around her. Photography was a way for her to get away from the anxiety and her father. This is the only time that she feels calm and happy, which was how she was able to be subdued by Juniper.

Now the two are working on her problems and helping her reach a stable emotional state. Flora's starting to learn simple things like smiling and laughing, but she hopes to someday stop getting so angry at people for the little things. She also tends to repeat Juniper's advice right back to her, since the canine is a bit hypocritical.
