Anyways, This character was really fun to draw! I wasn't sure about the expression, so if you want me to change it, it'll be really easy for me.

totally worth the wait! he looks incredible and i honestly love the expression <33 it captures emotion so well and also fits his personality nicely
i love all the little details you added (lines at the horns, wrinkles in the cloak, details on the weapon, speckling on the shoulder plate, etc.)! it adds a wonderful sense of depth and texture
the background may be simple but it fits the piece well and actually captures the general atmosphere of the game he was based on quite nicely!

i checked back on to cs today on a whim after not logging on for several months so this was a very pleasant surprise to come back to. thank you so much! <3

Thank you so much! I'm glad that you liked it, I made sure to put in extra effort because of how late I am.

I had to look up several references from hollow knight to get a general feel for the backgrounds in the game. I originally tried to do a tree with vines hanging on top, but it looked too weird.
