A quick design.
I don't know if I like it much, tbh…
I'm colourblind and so colours are hard sometimes.
anyway, i'll have some better designs up tomorrow.

There are some rules on the lantern item.
-A Star Catcher's Item cannot be living. They're animals and cannot care for other things like we do
-It must be small. it has to fit inside the lantern!
-Natural or man-made. They have to have found it somewhere, but that doesn't mean they can't find something a human has dropped.
-It has to mean something to them. you don't have to describe what, but a Star Catcher's item is very important to them.

Ash; he was born under an ash tree.

Item: A small plastic snowflake ornament, covered in bright blue glitter. As a pup, he tried all winter to save snow in his lantern because he loved it so much, and couldn't understand why it kept disappearing. So just before Christmas the following year, his mother found the snowflake on an outdoor Christmas tree in a human suburb, almost getting caught in the process, and took it home to her baby to get on Christmas morning. It's much more faded now, but Ash prefers the softer blue to the super vivid color it was originally.
