Hidden amongst the vibrant, tropical plants and the presence of animals both large and small, sits an ancient temple, weathered with age, a frozen guardian silently watching over the sprawling jungle. The statue has been partially overtaken by creeping roots and lush trees, slowly becoming another facet of the wild, majestic landscape it calls home. Birds nest in its alcoves, leopards lay in the shade cast by its impressive, serious visage, snakes wind and coil lazily to sleep in the tropical heat. If you look hard enough and explore deep into the jungle, you might just stumble across it, look into its sightless, somber eyes, and sense the spirits of those who crafted it by hand, vestiges of a civilization long since lost to time, and the soul of the wild, primal jungle that has claimed the temple as its own.
