i thought it was a flower pot that had dumped out its dirt. you know how when you turn over a flower pot the dirt comes out but in the shape of the pot? i think the blanket is the dirt and the little volcano/stump is the dirt that stayed in the shape of the flower pot. but yeah it looks like a stump or a volcano to me as well XD
