Unless they are females. Sororities are popular with many experienced betta caretakers and are aesthetically pleasing too. But let me point out that my betta boy Pearl here is an independent little fishy. ^^ now let me stop here before I ramble on and on XD

it's not recommended to keep a sorority in less than a 20 gallom long and of less than 5 females. ALWAYS keep spare containers as things can go wrong at any moment!

@OP love the dressup

so happy to see another enthusiast! :D
I keep a divided 20 long and am obsessed with all things fishy. could talk for days upon days! I wonder how my partner puts up with it.
Art commissions and trades are closed. I just don't have time guys, I'm so sorry

Heyyyy other betta enthusiast! Yes I totally agree with that part with the spare containers and all.
At first I thought the dressup would be banned bc it looked a bit... ya know XD

Actually, I think it depends on the individual betta. I've heard of a betta fish that flared at prunes, seen others who didn't mind one bit having a realistic betta toy in their tank. Lol

I used to own 2 male betta fish ( they each had their own tanks of course XD ), one of them is name king and the other one name neon, (neon lived for 2 years and king lived for 3).

I should stop now before I go crazy with the stories XDD
