trying to juggle this deadline with my assignments is going to be interesting,,

9/12/2017 Edit: Conceptually these were meant to be crocodiles if they were mammals rather than reptiles! They live in desert caverns and close to bodies of water, and during winter the desert freezes over. It's a beautiful but harsh environment, to cope they shed and become a lot like hairless cats during the hot seasons and grow a lot of fur when it gets cold. They still lay eggs, making them monotremes I suppose. When first hatched they're small enough that a mother can generally carry about 3 or 4 around in her mouth.

I was going to add an Icy background, a shorter tail variation and some kind of iridescent rhino-beetle-carapace armor. Maybe one day I'll offer to add those things in? but another day. I've got enough other work to do at the moment as it is.
