Look at a bunch of wolves, draw what you see. Look at a real photo and draw it exactly, that is how you learn what your drawing (artistic studies). This goes for everything, have a good reference photo if your not 100% practice practice practice! That is the only way to improve. Using a good reference photo will do much more for you than me telling you how to draw. Tbh idk what the stigma is on this site with using reference, yall need to stop its an invaluable artist tool. The best of the best do it, and once you can draw the subject and are comfortable with it you can really experiment with style. Look at artists you admire, movies, video games, ect.. then you can really begin to develop a style. Just remember when starting out, make sure you KNOW what your drawing. How the thing functions internally and make sure you can see it and figure out how you can convey that in a drawing. Ex muscles under the skin ect.. youll get much more interesting results when drawing
i did a simple example of how i break down a wolf drawing. Think of your drawing as something your molding. As if you were using clay, you refine and add and change, you start filling in your forms until your happy. Dont be afraid to change something! I know your drawing was intended to be redlined but def spend more than two minutes on it. Try your best and then ask for a crit, it will help more.
