Where are they from?

Gem kitties are a recent discovery,
found in living in caves near the bottom of New Zealand.

Since they were discovered they have been transported
Around the world and sold as pets, which suits them greatly.

They are extremely friendly,
And like to live in large groups called "Clusters".



About the species:


Gem kitties are slightly smaller than average house cats,
Making them ideal apartment pets.
They can breed once a month,
and usually give birth to one kit at a time,
Very rarely two.

Gem kitties can breed 3 times in a lifetime.

Their diet in the wild consists of moss, algae and any small animals they can get
their jaws around.
Though their natural diet is bland, they adapt easily and have been known to enjoy tinned cat food,
Cat biscuits and.... Pickles?






Every Gem Kitty has 3 gems on each side of their rump, and two on their head,
8 in all.
Gem kitties can have any type of gem/diamond, though check out the Rarity chart

They are always the same colour on rump and forehead,
and often match the eye colour.
The gem colour never changes, and each kitty is born with a colour that they
will stay with the rest of their life.

The use for these is still unknown, perhaps to
attract a mate or show personality?
Who knows, maybe someone will find out.


Gem kitties can come in any colour and pattern,
and are often treasured for their looks.


They come in a variety of personalities,

Standard:

No edits


Common:

Longer fur, Tail edits, Small accesssories.

Uncommon:

Ear edits, More than 8 gems, small horns

Rare:

Large horns, no fur, less then 8 gems (more than 3)

Very Rare:

Gold, silver, rock, goo replacing gems. Floating.

Legandary:

3 gems, glowing gems, missing limbs, Wings.

You can not breed your Gem Kitty more than once a month

You can not sell your Gem Kitty for any type of currency

You can not add items to a Gem Kitty without my permission
