What are they?
Long after dinosaurs were though to be extinct these guys were found running around the wilds of Russia. Smaller and denser than their older cousins Koronas have a thick fur on their chest and back to help them through the harsh winters and freezing temperatures. Named after the 'crowns' on their heads which both male and females have. These crowns are used for communication and attracting a partner. Korona raptors are not difficult to train. They live in close family groups which range from two to ten raptors. Some groups however have been known to have as many as twenty raptors.
However with a strong prey drive they are not very compatible with other species. However it is not impossible, if taught from a young age Koronas can learn to play nice with other species.
Tamed koronas have a 'tassel' around their neck, this helps identify them.
