This is pretty good for your first background attempt, but I don't think it is intermediate yet. Try adding more detail to the leaves and bark of the trees. For the hole in the trees you might want to add small cracks or fractures so it doesn't look like a random splotch. I'm also not too sure what the red spots are (cherries, apples, ect.) so you could add more detail to make them more realistic. The shading on the mountains is a little too smooth; I'd suggest making them vary in size, color and roughness. Overall this is pretty serene but not quite ready for the intermediate board. Don't get discouraged and try out new techniques to really express your style.

which is the most important?"
"The most important one,"
answered Jesus, "is this:
'LOVE the Lord your God
with all your HEART
and with all your SOUL
and with all your MIND
and with all your STRENGTH.'
The second is this:
'LOVE your neighbor as yourself.'
There is no commandment
greater than these."

Yeah, thats what I did. I tried new things. The scatter tool could make really cool effects. Try it out. And use the airbrush too. Just experiment and you will make REALLY epic pictures.

Also, with the trees, you used to blender tool on the outside so the they wisp out into to sky, instead of being firmly their own identity. To avoid that, when you're using the blender tool, if you're using layers click 'lock alpha', and if you're not just try to stay in the lines. It is very pretty, and the grass is very nice, but overall I'd say not quite intermediate
