As I step out of the airship, I hobble to a small hill gazing over a valley. My team, no, m-my friends. They rushed to my aid but I shook them off. "I'm alright..." I say as my arrow wound on my side begins to burn. We won. We did it. The long lasting war is finished, but it's taking me with it. My homeland and friends are safe and that's what truly matters... I ease myself carefully to the ground and lie there, just gazing at the stars one last time. My team is held back by an invisible wall; making no movements toward me. Just frightened looks burned into their eyes. Drawing in a deep breath, I see a shooting far off in the distance. "I wi-wish my friends will never have to deal with thi-" My eyes grow wide, then, a sudden weight is set on my lids. "It-it's alright..."
