I dropped my books and tore my jacket,
But the worst part is, you stole my locket,
Even though you made me a mess,
You shouldn't have been quick to second guess,
Because on that day, you stole that heart,
You also made mine fall apart,
As I looked down sobbing and hurt,
This guy came along, and he quite a flirt,
He helped but up and got me clean,
And now he is on his knee,
Giving me a ring as early as 15,
Asking "Please oh please don't let her come between"
I nod my head and hug him tight,
Knowing he saved my light,
Now my love gave me this ring,
I can finally go in peace.
