Please remember that in no way am I telling you how you should have your pony.
All I'm doing here is telling you how you can make your characters slightly more show-accurate and less pony-creator (not saying any of you guys have ponies that seem very pony creator!)
Remember, your pony is yours and you have every right to keep your original designs, because if your pony makes you happy how they are, they're perfect!

Hey I remember doing this same thing a few years back it was quite fun also I really like your style!
