Rules; (You only need to read bold, but reading it all is appreciated!)
Feel free to use for anything and post your work anywhere you like, so long as you;
-Don't post the base uncoloured/unchanged anywhere.
-Don't make profit from/try to sell the base itself. (You may use to make profit from adopts or whatever as long as it's recoloured and it isn't the basethat you're selling.)
-You may change gender. (It's gender neutral at the moment.)
-You may edit as you please.
-You may use for adopts but you can't make species/your own breeds out of these lines unless it's seriously edited. (PM me first if you want to create a species from these lines.)
-You MUST keep my signature. Always. If you post elsewhere, you MUST also credit this account.
-It colours as a greyscale. Below are the list of layers and how to use them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
HELPFUL TO READ;
Layers and how to use them;
-Cover. (Remove this.)
-Sketch. (You can remove this too.)
-Signature. DON'T REMOVE THIS LAYER PLEASE.
-Mane/Tail Overlay. (Click "Lock Alpha" and colour in whatever colour you want the mane/tail to be.)
-Mane/Tail Greyscale. (Don't edit unless you lighten/darken to make the overlay colour more apparent. Also edit if contrast is uneven or looks bad.)
-Overlay. (Click "Lock Alpha" and colour in whatever colour you want the body/markings to be.)
-Greyscale. (Don't edit unless you lighten/darken to make the overlay colour more apparent. Also edit if contrast is uneven or looks bad.)
-Background. (This can be changed if you like, so long as my SV signature is visible over it.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Prevent Weird Contrast;
- This works better with medium shade horses (medium brown, grey etc)
- If you want a white marking on the face, go onto the "shading" layer, and with a low opacity, draw over in white, and then add marking on overlay layer
- If you want to make the horse (or parts of it) a very light or very dark colour, reduce the contrast. Do this by adding (in very low opacity) extra black or white on the "shading" layer. (White if horse will be light, black if horse will be dark. Alternatively, colour over in grey with low opacity.)
Hope this is useful!
