A mother fox slipped through the woods, a small bundle in her jaws. She whimpered softy, and layed it down, revealing a baby fox.
"Stay safe," she whispered, placing a toy dragon beside the babe. She licked the top of his head and bounded off, tears obscuring her vision.
A wolf padded into the clearing, and sniffed the air, glancing left and right to find his prey, the fox and her cub. The mother was hiding in the near by bushes, watching. As the wolf neared the cub, she leapt out and shouted, "came at me!" the she bounded into the woods, leaving her babe alone.
Dor, the baby whimpered softly, clutching his toy.
"Mama," he whispered, tears dripping down his face.
