They stand on their hind legs and "hug" you to inject venom with usually flaccid spikes that erect when they are threatened. They are called "Beanies" as their venom sac feels like a beanbag. While a dangerous companion, they can be a great creature to keep around for comfort and companionship. They will rarely hurt their companions, their venom sac harmless unless erect.
Their "whiskers" are quite sensitive to wind and gasses. They can detect if something is dangerous, which way the wind is blowing, the distance it has been blowing, and how fast. Beanies posses no teeth, and instead have hard "lips" and a pointed "beak". They eat fish, plants, and insects.
Beanies love both water and land, being great swimmers and walkers. While they don't mind heights, they prefer to be down low.
