Welcome to Arcane Adopts! My name is
Azra. I will be guiding you through Etroth. You
may not touch anything until the guide is over, and
mind your language; the ah, trolls are easily offended.
Should you find yourself lost, I ill-advise you of
approaching any pixies for assistance.

Now, before we proceed, I must enlighten you with
the basic rules. You don't want to get into trouble,
do you?

General

The Arcane are not tied to one species. If they were, I don't even
know what that one species would look like. Essentially, when I refer to "Arcanes", I
really mean a variety of beings, beasts and creatures. Werewolves are your stereotypical
Arcane, but there are many unique species you may not have heard of. Pixies - more specifically
Lesnides, ghouls, dragons, sirens, minotaurs - and other beings based off of ancient
myths from the Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, etc.

Yes, I see you looking at me in a questiontable manner. No need to be rude. I'm
a Goddess of messages, hence myself guiding you through Etroth.

Arcanes are neither good or bad. As I've mentioned, the term "Arcanes" here in Etroth means
nearly any beast or creature. You cannot say humans are good or bad whilst speaking for
all 8 billion of you, can you? There is always good and bad, but neither of these things
should determine the reputation of a broad group, I speculate.

With that said, do not underestimate any Arcane, given it's size or appearance. Even
the most dainty looking faerie may just bite your nose clean off. On the contrary,
trolls are not always so thick and dim-witted. Believe it or not, in troll history there
have been a handful of miraculous troll scholars.

In Etroth, the land is very versatile, much like earth's. There are perilous mountain
ranges, dark caverns and deep seas: old and new growth forests and deserts, rain forests,
plains and glaciers.

I don't advice you wandering off on your own, as you may disturb a dragon on
your way. In an instant you could be a roasted turkey with no excuses saying
I didn't warn you, now? Not all dragons are ferocious, fire-breathing beasts.
That being said, not all dragons would be... well, you'll see.

Staff positions are very difficult to get into for
many reasons. For mods, we are only looking for experienced,
active users. At the moment we are not looking for artists or
co-admins. In the future there may be guest artist spots.
We're very picky about moderators, warning in advance!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxmay not upload the drawing by the artist to a website such as deviantart because you will be credited
xxxxxxxxxxxxxby favorites and comments (etc). Instead, the artist may post the reference to deviantart and you may
xxxxxxxxxxxxxfavorite/comment on the drawing.

Sorry, but customs are not available to the public.
"Can I be an artist?"
Unless applications are open and you are accepted, you may not be an artist for these adopts at this time. Please keep your eyes open for when and if the applications open.
"Can I be a moderator?"
If applications are open you may apply to be a moderator, but you must be accepted by apricity.

We are sorry, but they won fair and square, and they also put effort into their form. The decision can not be changed. Please do not be rude about them winning, instead keep your eyes open for other adopts that catch your eye.

We please ask that you remove this. This is not the place to advertise your own adoptable and we suggest you find somewhere else to advertise. We hope you understand.
"When will the next adopt come out?"
Please be patient as the artists can get busy with real life and other things, we do not have set times for their release, but artists will get them out when they have the time. So just keep your eyes open and watch for when they are posted.
How often would you check the threads? At least every second day. I am very active on CS and checking threads that I am a part of in someway. Unless that thread is not extremely active, for a long period of time.
Have you got any experience in moderating? If yes,
please link. I am currently a mod and judge of Crystinalians
